Cybersecurity LATAM

Cybersecurity based on artificial intelligence in Latin America: challenges, opportunities and a double-layered architectural framework.

Rationale: Digital transformation in Latin America has expanded the attack surface and cybersecurity risks. Methodology: A literature review of scientific literature and specialized reports (2020–2026) was conducted. Results: Technological gaps, talent shortages, and low investment were identified; furthermore, an AI-based defense model is proposed. Conclusions: Integrating AI, cybersecurity, and technological sovereignty strengthens regional digital resilience.

ADCI: A Cognitive AI-Driven Dual-Layer Architecture for Autonomous Cyber Defense

In response to the rise in AI-driven cyber threats in Latin America, which are overwhelming traditional security models, this text proposes a dual-layer cybersecurity architecture (DLCA). This model integrates a Zero Trust operational layer with a cognitive AI layer designed for behavioral analysis, anomaly detection, and real-time autonomous defensive response.
